Creative Wellness and Free Expression Classes
Free classes for Youth ages 8-18
Hearts Unknown Education, a program of Dead Poets Foundation, offers free Creative Wellness and Free Expression Classes for youth ages 8 to 18 who are struggling with anxiety or depression or just having a tough time coping with the state of the world.
Participating in creative expression through art can be a refuge from intense emotions, decrease anxiety and calm neural activity, relieve stress, help one to process life events and can positively impact mental health.
Classes are currently offered weekly at Layor Art Supply, 1000 NW Wall St., Suite 110, in downtown Bend.
